Retired and Realizing
Community-Centered · Experience-Backed · Purpose-Driven
A brand of Robinson Global Consulting, LLC

1. What This Means
Robinson Global Consulting, LLC, doing business as "Retired and Realizing" ("Company," "RNR," "we," "us," or "our"), participates in affiliate marketing. This means that some links on retiredandrealizing.com, in our blog posts, in our email newsletter, or in our TikTok and social content, may be affiliate links. If you click one of those links and make a purchase, we may earn a commission or other compensation. This does not cost you anything extra — the price you pay is the same whether or not you use our link.
2. Our Recommendation Standard
We only recommend products, services, or resources that we genuinely believe add value to the Retired and Realizing community, based on Geezell's own experience or research. Being paid a commission does not change our opinion of a product, and we do not accept payment in exchange for a positive review. That said, we do have a financial incentive when you use our affiliate links, which is exactly why we're disclosing it here, plainly, rather than leaving you to guess.
3. Where Affiliate Links May Appear
Affiliate links may currently or in the future appear in:
- Blog articles and resource guides on retiredandrealizing.com
- Product or lifestyle recommendations linked to PurrTux.net, our sister brand for tuxedo cat and pet-related content
- Our email newsletter
- TikTok, Instagram, and other social content, where affiliate links may be included in captions, bios, or linked pages
4. No Financial or Investment Endorsement
Given that some of our content addresses pensions, income-building, and solopreneur finances, we want to be direct: any affiliate link related to a financial tool, product, or service is a product recommendation only, not financial or investment advice, and is not a personalized recommendation that the product is right for your specific situation. See our Disclaimer and Section 13 of our Terms and Conditions for our full "not professional advice" disclosure.
5. How Disclosure Should Appear on Actual Content (Operating Guidance)
This section is operational guidance for content production, not just a legal statement.
To satisfy the FTC's "clear and conspicuous" standard, a disclosure needs to sit where a reader actually sees it before they click, not just be reachable through a footer link. Practical rules to apply going forward:
- Blog posts: include a short, plain-language line near the top of any post containing affiliate links
- TikTok and Instagram: include the disclosure in the caption itself, above the "see more" fold if possible
- Email newsletter: include a brief disclosure near any affiliate link or product recommendation
- Resources page: if a listed resource is a paid affiliate link, label it as such directly on the resource card
6. Third-Party Product Responsibility
We do not manufacture, control, or guarantee any product or service sold by a third party, even one we've recommended through an affiliate link. Any issue with a product's quality, safety, shipping, billing, or performance is between you and the third-party seller, and should be directed to them or their customer service. We are not responsible for resolving disputes related to third-party purchases.
7. Changes to This Disclosure
We may update this Affiliate Disclosure as our affiliate relationships change. The "Last Updated" date above reflects the most recent version.
